Robert Fisk article

Yesterday Robert Fisk wrote an article “Why do they hate the west so much, we will ask”. He is trying to put the massacre in Gaza in a historical perspective. By no means this is the first time the Israeli army is making so many victims under innocent Palestinians. In the invasion in Lebanon 1982 there were 17500 all civilians dead by the Israelis. In the Sabra- Chatila massacre there were 1700 all Palestinians killed. In 2006 the Marwahin refugees were slaughtered by the Israelis. After they ordered them to leave there homes an Israeli helicopter shot them all dead, only two survived by playing dead. Now the story is repeating itself in Gaza. On the 6th of January 40 Palestinian refugees were killed in a UN school.

The Israelis had always plenty of excuses, like “ that the Palestinians killed their own refugees, that the Palestinians dug up bodies from cemeteries and planted them in the ruins, that ultimately the Palestinians are to blame because they supported an armed faction, or because armed Palestinians deliberately used the innocent refugees as cover.”

Now they pretend to fight against international terrorism and the world is looking away again.
